Why
should I choose you to photograph my wedding?
I am one of the area’s few full-time
female photographers specializing in weddings,
and I combine a university degree in photography
with years of professional experience. You
can view samples of my work in my studio,
and talk with some of my clients about their
opinion of me and my work.
Who will be the
photographer?
I will be your photographer. There is also an assistant photographer with all album packages. Having two photographers is a huge advantage as we can be at two places at once.
What
are your prices?
I offer several options and can customize
them to fit your needs. You can choose from a package, a la carte, or a combination of the two. I will also work up a custom estimate for you if you like. Email me for rates information.
How
long have you been in business?
I
have been photographing weddings since 1996
and now I am a full-time, weddings-only photographer.
Are
you a fulltime photographer?
Yes. I earn a living solely by photographing
weddings. I am one of the very few photographers who does weddings-only. I believe focusing on weddings exclusively makes me a better wedding photographer.
Can
I see samples of your work?
Yes, I will show you albums of entire weddings
so you can see how I shoot. It is very important
when selecting a photographer that you see entire
weddings so you know that she can give you consistently
high-quality images of the entire day.
In
addition, I will show you a selection of 16x20
and larger framed wall prints. Large prints
such as these are an excellent way to judge
the quality of a photographer’s work.
Any top-quality photographer would be eager
to have her work judged on the fine details
visible only in large prints.
Can
I speak to former clients?
Yes, I will be happy to provide a list of clients
that you may contact.
Will
you stay longer than the agreed upon time?
Yes. Before leaving the reception, I’ll
check with you to see if there are more photos
you would like, and will be happy to stay later. I do charge overtime but would make sure my staying is ok with you first.
Are
you willing to add my photo ideas to your standard
shot list?
Yes.
I customize my packages to shoot the types of
pictures you want with the emphasis on the things
that mean the most to you. I encourage my clients
to show me bridal magazine photos that they
would like to re-create.
When
do we meet?
We
typically meet twice, once for you to see my
work and again about a month before the wedding
to finalize the details. However, I do have
very busy or out-of-town clients who book me
online or over the phone.
Our
wedding is not in Louisville. Will you travel?
I am available for travel, both in the US and
abroad.
